Legalyard

An AI-native legal platform. Its assistant, Legalyard AI, helps legal professionals and the people they serve with research, argument development, drafting and document review. Every answer is grounded in cited sources and checked before it reaches the user.

Legalyard AI product card reading: Legal intelligence for everyone. Research, draft, review and cite, grounded in real sources, with the work shown.

Overview

Legal work is expensive, slow and hard to check. The most advanced legal AI is built for the world's largest firms, and the cheapest options are general chatbots that produce confident prose with nothing behind it. Legalyard is built for the large group in between: solo practitioners, small firms, in-house teams, students and individuals.

Legalyard is AI-native. AI is the core of the system, not a feature added on top, and one pipeline plans, retrieves, drafts, verifies and revises every answer. The principle behind it is simple to state: an answer a professional can check is worth more than an answer that only sounds better.

How it works

  1. 01

    Understand the request

Each question is routed by how much work it needs. A quick lookup gets a fast answer, and a research memo gets a deeper, multi-step run.

  2. 02

    Ground it in real sources

Answers are built from retrieved legal material, using jurisdiction-specific rules. Coverage is deepest for India, the United States and the United Kingdom.

  3. 03

    Verify before it's shown

A set of checks runs inside every answer: citation existence, claim support, faithfulness to sources, jurisdiction, whether a statute is current, precedential status, and personal-data leakage.

  4. 04

    Show the work

You see the sources and reasoning behind each answer, so you can check it rather than trust it blindly.

  5. 05

    Deliver something usable

Drafts, document reviews and clause extraction produce output you can edit and export, not just a paragraph in a chat.

What's different

  • Verification inside the answer, not a filter after it

The checks are part of how an answer is produced. An answer that fails one is revised before it reaches you, instead of being flagged afterwards.

  • An evidence record for every answer

Each verified answer keeps a record of which checks ran, which sources were used and which model answered. The record can be removed on request.

  • No AI-generated numbers

Calculations such as interest and deadlines come from deterministic engines. The AI extracts the inputs and explains the result, but it can't change the result.

  • Jurisdiction as data

Court and statute rules are maintained as structured packs for each jurisdiction, not as instructions written into a prompt.

Limitations

  • Legalyard gives legal information, not legal advice. Output is AI-generated and should be reviewed before anyone relies on it.
  • Coverage is deepest for India, the United States and the United Kingdom. Elsewhere, answers have less grounding.
  • Verification reduces errors but doesn't remove them. Confirming that a source exists and supports a claim is not a guarantee of a legal outcome.
  • Legalyard is pre-launch. Mobile apps, team and firm features, and some integrations are still being built.
  • Legalyard doesn't yet hold independent security certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

What's next

  • Legalyard for Business

A later extension of the same platform for firms, with matters, billing and team workspaces.

  • Mobile apps

    Legalyard for iOS and Android.
